Safe Boating Week Flare Shoot
May. 21st @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm
The annual flare shoot takes place this month on Tuesday, May 21, 6:00pm. It will take
place on Ledbetter Beach, west of the Yacht Club. Rick Hubbard from the Harbor
Department will be moderating the event. If you have some old, expired flares you
should come join us and get the feel of igniting them. If you don’t have any expired
flares, Rick will have some for you. There is more to igniting these flares than you can
imagine, so it is good to practice.
